A catering team with more than 20 years of experience will take care of guests at corporate or high-level state events, as well as personal celebrations such as weddings, christenings, or jubilees.

Since 1995, the family of Jolanta and Dalius Šlapelis has been providing catering services. Their love for food and courage in facing challenges have shaped “Skonio slėnis” into what it is today: impeccable quality, creative culinary artistry, and original solutions. This includes catering services, the “Kristoforas” restaurant at Vilnius Town Hall, four lunch restaurants called “Mokslininkai,” and an organic farm. Our team can simultaneously serve around 10 events with up to 7,000 guests across Lithuania and neighboring countries.
At the Šlapelis family farm in Aukštaitija, traditional farming methods are used, ensuring that the seasonal berries, vegetables, and herbs reaching your table meet the highest quality standards.

VISITING CHEFS
We strive to stay one step ahead with contemporary European gastronomic trends, which is why every year we invite renowned and acclaimed chefs from abroad. These chefs not only introduce the latest culinary innovations but also share their extensive knowledge and reveal technical secrets learned at some of Europe’s most prestigious culinary schools, such as “Le Cordon Bleu” (since 1895), “Alain Ducasse Formation”, and “École Ritz Escoffier”. In 2017 and 2018, “Skonio Slėnis” welcomed French chef Xavier Bouriot, whose career began thirty years ago at a 3-Michelin-star restaurant in Reims, Champagne.

The menus created by Chef Ernestas Viršila are a perfect example of how the diversity of global flavors can be showcased while adhering to the principles of classic French cuisine. Known for his creativity and meticulous approach, Ernestas has worked in prestigious and aristocratic kitchens in London and Lithuania, as well as alongside the renowned Chef Gordon Ramsay. His vision not only inspires the team but also attracts food enthusiasts who appreciate high-quality culinary experiences and an authentic atmosphere.
